Compared to Type 1 surge protectors or Class 2 surge protectors, Type 1+2 surge protectors have a wider range of applicable installations. The 1+2 type surge protector is suitable for installation in areas below the LPZ0B partition level. It has a large current capacity while also ensuring low voltage protection level. Compared with the 1 type surge protector, it has stronger voltage limiting ability, and compared with the 2 type surge protector, its current capacity is much larger. It is more suitable for lightning protection of equipment facing direct lightning hazards and low voltage resistance.

Installation and maintenance:
The installation of 1+2 type lightning arrester should follow relevant specifications to ensure that the grounding wire area and neutral wire cross-sectional area meet the requirements. In addition, regular maintenance and inspection should be carried out to ensure that it is in good working condition.
The 1+2 type lightning arrester can also be equipped with remote signaling alarm function, which can monitor the working status of the lightning arrester in real time and issue an alarm in a timely manner when a fault occurs.
★ Before installation, the power must be cut off and live operation is strictly prohibited.
★ It is recommended to connect fuses or automatic circuit breakers in series at the front end of the lightning protection module.
★ During installation, please connect according to the installation diagram, where L1, L2, and L3 are phase wires, N is neutral wire, and PE is ground wire. Do not connect them incorrectly. After installation, close the automatic circuit breaker (fuse) switch and check if the working status is normal.
★ After installation (the 18mm module should be plugged into place), check if the lightning protection module is working properly.
★ During use, the lightning protection module should be regularly inspected and the status of the fault display window should be checked
When the fault display window turns red (or the remote signaling terminal of the product with remote signaling outputs an alarm signal), it indicates that the lightning protection module has malfunctioned and should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
★ When the lightning protection module is working normally, the remote signaling terminals 1 (NC) and 2 (COM) of the module are normally closed, and the terminals 2 (COM) and 3 (NO) are normally open.
★ When the lightning protection module malfunctions, the remote signaling terminals 1 (NC) and 2 (COM) of the module are normally open, and the terminals 2 (COM) and 3 (NO) are normally closed.
★ The parallel power lightning protection module should be installed in parallel The connecting wire should be firm and reliable, and should be short, thick, and straight.
